Globe Fire Sprinkler

In 2014, Globe Sprinkler was proud to celebrate 100 years of continuous production of Globe Sprinklers and Valves. Since the introduction of the first Globe Issue "A" Sprinkler in 1914, the Globe name has persisted in its enduring identity and continued innovation, developing the earliest lever-fulcrum dry pipe valve, Globe Save All center strut sprinklers, and eventually becoming the first US company to utilize 5mm and 3mm Glass Bulbs in its commercial and residential sprinklers.

In 2014, Globe was recognized by the State of Michigan as a recipient of the prestigious 2014 Prosperity Award. The Prosperity Award is presented to a Michigan business that represents "strength, innovation, growth and community enhancement."

Engineered Systems to Provide Exceptional Performance The Kidde ADS with FM-200 Clean Agent Suppression System was developed by Kidde engineers to provide economical protection for larger enclosures requiring longer agent flow distances, and as a “drop-in” replacement for Halon 1301.

With the patented-technology of “piston flow”, the ADS with FM-200 System is capable of delivering greater mass flow rates 2.5 to 3 times faster than a standard clean agent system. This innovation allows networking of longer pipe runs in complex configurations with smaller pipe sizes for protection of larger hazard areas.

NOVEC 1230

Extra Nitrogen Gives You More Coverage While Reducing Installation Costs What do you get when you combine 3M™ Novec™ 1230 Fire Protection Fluid stored at 360 PSI with Nitrogen at 1,800 PSI? The Kidde Clean Agent ADS System with Novec 1230 Fluid. This results in the best coverage, highest nozzle, smallest diameter pipe and longest pipe runs.

Argonite

Argonite is a simple blend of 50% Argon gas and 50% Nitrogen gas with a density similar to that of air. Both Argon and Nitrogen are clean, naturally occurring gases that are readily available throughout the world.

The system has no direct global warming or ozone depletion potential. Argonite requires minimal post-fire cleanup and will not decompose or produce any by-products when exposed to a flame from a fire situation.

The CARDOX Low-Pressure Carbon Dioxide (LP CO2) System is a proven solution when used to protect areas that require multiple suppression cycles, expansion capabilities, numerous hazards or more than 5000 lbs of CO2.

LPCO2 TankCO2 is an odorless, colorless, inert gas that extinguishes fire primarily by diluting the oxygen that supports combustion. It is applied by either the “total flooding” or “local application” method. CO2 is not recommended for normally occupied spaces, except when other means of fire protection are not effective.

Total flooding delivers CO2 into an enclosure until the fire is extinguished. For open hazards, the CO2 local application method blankets the hazard extinguishing the flames and cooling the hazard. In “total flooding”, the enclosure of the hazard protected is flooded to a proper concentration. In “local application”, CO2 is directly applied in the proper amount at the rate required to cover the protected hazard.
